Mountain View Church thrives in connecting passionate volunteers with ministries that fit their area of interest.  Volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministries.  They are central to fulfilling our mission as we minister to each other and our community.

Book and Food Store

STORE CLERKS WANTED—Looking for friendly volunteers to help staff a new Mountain View Christian book and health food store.

STORE MANAGER WANTED—Individual needed to help supervise and manage a new Mountain View Christian book and health food store. 


Communications

ASSISTANT WEBMASTER WANTED—Assist Webmaster in web design and web publishing.

NEWSLETTER EDITORS WANTED—Looking for writers and journalist types to write stories, design layouts, and publish a Mountain View newsletter for church members and friends.

NEWSLETTER HELPERS WANTED—Assist newsletter editors in various facets of newsletter publication and mailing.

NEWSLETTER PHOTOGRAPHER WANTED—Help capture Mountain View events on film to use in church newsletters.

PUBLIC RELATIONS WRITER WANTED—A person with a journalistic twist is needed to write articles for local and denomination publications featuring Mountain View Church.

WEBMASTER WANTED—A person with technical skills and a working knowledge of web design and publishing is needed to help create and maintain web content on a continuing basis.
 

Children's Ministries

JUNIORS/EARLITEENS HELPERS WANTED—High-energy people, with a love for grade 5-8 students, are needed to assist busy leaders.

PRIMARY DEPARTMENT HELPERS WANTED—Leaders of children ages 7-9 need help in pointing these precious young people to Jesus. 


Community Building

SMALL GROUP LEADERS WANTED—Help co-lead 8-12 church members and friends in Bible study and prayer.

SOCIAL COMMITTEE MEMBERS WANTED—Enthusiastic creative types needed to serve in planning and executing church community building events.

VISITATION TEAM MEMBERS WANTED—Team up to visit the sick, shut-ins, and others who might need cheering up!
 

Miscellaneous Jobs

BULK MAIL PREPARATION CLERK WANTED—Help prepare Mountain View mass mailings to members, church friends, and the community.

BULLETIN FOLDERS AND STUFFERS WANTED—Help fold and stuff weekly bulletins for worship services.

CLASS FACILITATORS WANTED—Facilitate various classes taught by professionals on videos and DVDs. Host class and help lead workbook discussions. 

GRAPHICS ARTIST/DESIGNER WANTED—Help design graphics for print publications, web applications, and presentation needs. 


Treasury Department

ASSISTANT CHURCH TREASURER WANTED—Experienced bookkeeping/accounting person needed to assist church treasurer in financial budgeting, record keeping and reporting.

OFFERING COUNTERS WANTED—Help count weekly church offerings. 


Worship Department

CREATIVE DIRECTORS WANTED—Creative idea types needed to help weekly worship teams produce weekend worship services.

DRAMA TEAM MEMBERS WANTED—Creative individuals needed to use skit and role-play to bring stories and sermon illustrations to life.

DRUMMERS WANTED—High-impact percussion musicians needed to be part of a praise music worship team.

GRAPHICS AND PROJECTION TECHNICIANS WANTED—If you are a computer savvy techie-type we need you for PowerPoint and video worship presentations.

GUITAR AND BASS PLAYERS WANTED—Passionate musicians needed to use their musical talents to praise God.

KEYBOARD PLAYERS WANTED—Share your keyboard talents to enhance Mountain View worship.

LIGHTING TECHNICIANS WANTED—Behind-the-scenes workers needed to use light to set the moods for worship.

SINGERS WANTED—Praise team vocalists needed with a passion to worship God.

SOUND TECHNICIANS WANTED—Audio-oriented individuals needed to help mix sound for worship services.

STAGE MANAGERS WANTED—You can be a blessing by helping create pleasing stage arrangements for worship and other services.

VIDEO CAMERA OPERATORS WANTED—People with good hand/eye coordination are needed to be behind the camera to help tape worship services.

VIDEO CONTROL ROOM OPERATORS WANTED—Help mix and direct the various video cameras during worship to create pleasing worship videos and DVDs.

VIDEO MINISTRY HELPERS WANTED—Assist in helping control room operators and camera operators. 


Worship Support

DEACONS AND USHERS WANTED—Service-oriented people needed to help during worship service with offerings, seating, and generally seeing that all runs smoothly on Sabbath mornings, and other times when needed.

FRONT DOOR GREETERS WANTED—Warm and inviting personalities needed who can help everyone feel welcomed who enters our building.

INFORMATION CENTER ATTENDANTS WANTED—Confident individuals needed who have great people skills and a willingness to serve others at our Information Center.
